Julie obtained her Computer Science (B.S.) & Information Management (B.S.) degrees from Seton Hill University and her MBA & E-Commerce Certificate and Masters – Information Science from Duquesne University. She works in technology and marketing.
Julie lives in Pittsburgh, PA and dedicates her service efforts to fighting cancer and finding cures. She has served on several charity boards and committees and leads the American Cancer Society South Fayette/Bridgeville 5K. Over the years, she has raised hundreds of thousands to fight cancer.
Finishing her first children’s book, Gingy & Friends: The Best Christmas Presents was a major dream come true, especially after being interrupted by her battle with cancer. As a breast cancer survivor, Julie has devoted her life to fighting all cancers. A portion of the proceeds from her children’s book will be donated to cancer research and support programs.
